There are two options to defend the double passes right now.
Option 1: Cover 1 is going to be the most effective stock coverage you can call. Due to the outside leverage the db's play with, it blankets almost all the double pass routes as they are out breaking routes.
Option 2: User the flat defender in a zone when you see the motion happening and run and tackle the player before he can throw the second pass. If you guess wrong and it's another play with the same motion, just switch stick back to someone else on your defense.
