Most people don't run defenses that will even allow this ability to activate. If you run zone drops on anything other than default, or you shade your coverage underneath or over the top, you will never get a zone chuck, so this ability would be worthless. If you run a base defense like Cover 2 and rely on the outside corners getting zone chucks, you could equip this. The other issue is that the offense has the final say based on the formation they choose on whether the defense can even get a zone chuck at all.
