Have you played a solo challenge since your last game of house rules? That will sometimes shake loose a reward that seems stuck.
Re: Practice with your mut team ??
We really need an actual practice mode in MUT. But for now, your best bet if you want to play the CPU is probably Solo Battles on the highest difficulty.
