Easiest way for guaranteed coins is to get legend rank on solo battles. Guaranteed 59,500 coins and 6 packs that can sometimes help a bit.

I'm about 99% sure Lach is right - you can play solos and use the AH, but wouldn't be able to play h2h, squads, etc.
