UT Deep Dive Recap
Season 1
Here's a brief overview of some of the content we can expect to see in Season 1 of MUT 26:
- Preseason Standouts program featuring special House Rules events against the CPU or H2H.
- Campus Heroes program with College OT (H2H) and Campus Chaos (CPU).
- Game Time program with the first team-building events of the year, both H2H and CPU.
New Events
EA touched on a variety of new game modes in MUT 26:
- Most Feared Trick-or-Treat CPU event with randomized House progression, featuring unique rules and attribute modifiers.
- Zero Chill team-building event with event-specific rewards.
- A new battlescore-driven CPU event.
- "Race" house rules events.
New Field Passes
- There will be a new Seasonal Event Pass, which builds on what we saw with Showtime Showdown in MUT 25. The Seasonal Event Pass includes Solo Event objectives for offline players too.
- A new Weekly Spotlight Pass will include multiple programs with a shared token reward for more flexibility in the rewards you receive. For example, the first Weekly Spotlight Pass will feature Legends, Team of the Week, and Collector's Series programs.
Collector's Series
- Collector's Series is a new weekly program that features a new theme each Season of MUT 26. Collect all of the Champions for that series to receive a special, more powerful version of the Champion of your choice. The program debuts in Season 1 with Signature Series.
Solo Play Overhaul
- Solo Champions is a 12-game weekly gauntlet with challenges of escalating difficulty. Use your weekly entry token or complete weekly objectives to earn additional tokens to enter. Choose your difficulty and take on the CPU to earn battlescore and rewards. Seemingly, the higher your battlescore, the better your rewards will be.
- Solo Seasons in MUT 26 will take players through an NFL schedule of half games. Reach 10 wins to make the Playoffs. Complete enough weekly objectives in Solo Seasons and you can earn a free BND Champion.
- Solo Challenge star ratings are being adjusted so that 1-star challenges are much easier to complete than a 5-star challenge, which is meant to test a player's skills.

Gauntlet
- Players will now have the ability to earn an entry token for the Gauntlet via weekly objectives requiring Ranked wins.
Sick Six
- The Squads event Sick Six will no longer have limited availability. Instead, players can attempt their three runs per week at any point.
Team Building Events
- MUT 26 will feature new events that promote building unique rosters to enter, which could include requirements such as a specific team OVR, requiring certain player items in your lineup, or a certain theme.
- To help support these events, MUT 26 introduces more powerful lineup tools, making it easier to generate a valid lineup for an event.
Competitive Campaigns
- Leaderboard Campaigns will be limited-time, focused competitions with a small subset of players who will compete to score the most points, get the most wins, or whatever the key objective for the current campaign calls for. Finish at the top of your Leaderboard Campaign to receive better rewards.

LTDs, Sets, and Rewards
- Welcome Pack players are seeing an improvement and will generally be able to be upgraded to Champion-level OVR.
- LTDs will now be available for 1 full week instead of 3 days, and have a chance to be pulled from non-fantasy reward packs.
- Champion sets for programs will be single fantasy packs, allowing your selection of Champion.
- Set filters will be sorted alphabetically.
Alternate Uniforms
- There will be planned opportunities to earn alternate NFL uniforms in MUT 26, starting with the Season 2 Field Pass.
Pack Helper and Item Redesign
- The pack opening screen received an update that will help players decide whether a new item is better than their starter, whether it is eligible for a set, Auction House price, and Chemistry boosts, all from the pack opening screen.
- OVR, position, and name will now stay locked in a standard location, while everything else on the item can change based on the program, which should help give each program a more unique feel.
Objective Tracking
- Challenge Objective Tracking can now be found in the play call and presnap screens. We no longer have to pause to check current objectives!
- Additionally, modifiers for House Rules events can be found much more easily during a game (see image below).

Reveal Stream
- EA closed the MUT 26 Deep Dive by announcing their first Good Morning Madden stream of the new year for Wednesday, August 6th at 10:30am ET!
