If you're looking for an easy way to earn Coins offline and build your team during Early Access, especially if you're NMS (no money spent), PopularStranger posted a video on YouTube today highlighting just how easy it is in the limited-time CPU House Rules event. I've been playing the mode myself lately and, surprisingly, I've been having some fun with it while building up my Coins and completing daily/weekly objectives. The game mode is only available during Early Access and is set to expire at 11am ET on Thursday, August 14th.
What is this House Rules Event?
'Pregame Access: Lead to Succeed' consists of up to 10 shortened games against a pretty weak CPU to reach the maximum reward. Each game starts in the 4th Qtr with 5 minutes left and your team trailing. All you have to do is take the lead, and the game immediately ends. You will be trailing by more points as you get farther along your 10-game path, making each game slightly more challenging. Lose a game, and your run ends there. The scoring for the mode is a bit different than usual, consisting of the following rules:
- 20-Yard, 5-Play First Downs, No Special Teams
- Passing & Rushing TDs = 5 pts
- 20+ Yard Passing & Rushing TDs = 10 pts
- INT/Fumble = Steal 4 pts
- Sack/First Down = Steal 2 pts
- Offensive Plays go on cooldown for 5 Plays

What Rewards Can I Earn?
If you're able to win all 10 games, you will receive 20,000 Coins, 2x Paydirt Packs, and 2x End Zone Packs. If you get lucky with 1 of your packs and find an Elite player or a valuable, high-rated Gold player, it can easily make your time spent playing worth it. If you lose at any point, you will still receive rewards, just not as good as you would receive for winning all 10 games.

How Long Does it Take to Win 10 Games?
In my experience, if you are playing all 10 games non-stop, it takes approximately 40-45 minutes. If you'd like to chip away at your progress, that's fine too, just be aware that the mode ends at 11am ET on Thursday, August 14th.
I'm Struggling to Win 10 Games, What Can I Do?
Simply put, watch PopularStranger's video for his gameplay tips. Pop shares useful play suggestions for 1-play touchdowns, route combinations for 2-point conversions, and the defense he's been using against the computer with success.
Random Tips
- Preserve the clock as much as possible in the later games when it gets a bit more challenging because the CPU will go into Chew Clock Mode with under 3 minutes left in the quarter.
- Because of the time constraint and bonus points for long TDs, focus on deep passes to get back on defense as soon as possible.
- On defense, go for hit sticks to force fumbles and steal 4 points, which is an 8-point swing in your favor. The mode is played on Arcade, so a well-timed hit stick usually results in a fumble more times than not. Strip-sack fumbles on the QB are 12-point swings!
