#1 - How to block the 33 Odd loop blitz?
Answer:
Madden 25 (and even CFB 25) has been dominated by loop blitzes, with players finding ways to generate pressure from a variety of formations. One of the most common is the 3-3 Odd Loop Blitz, which you’ll see in both games—but fortunately, the blitz pickup is the same for both.
The key to consistently blocking this blitz is making sure your guard on the loop side doesn’t get caught in a double-team. If he does, the looper will have a free lane to your QB.
Check out the video for a step-by-step breakdown on how to neutralize this blitz and keep your offense moving!
#2 - How does the play "Double Bracket" work?
Answer:
Double Bracket is a new defensive concept in Madden this year, and when used at the right time, it can be extremely effective at shutting down key routes.
This play automatically double-teams two specific players every time you call it:
- The receiver covered by the slot cornerback
- The outside-most receiver on the opposite side
The improved bracketing system makes it much harder for opponents to rely on their top targets. In this video, we break down why this coverage works so well and how to use it to your advantage.
#3 - What's the best way to run against Dime 1-4?
Answer:
Struggling to run against Dime and Dollar formations? It can be frustrating since these are traditionally pass defenses, but in Madden, they can be surprisingly effective against the run.
The key to beating these formations on the ground is understanding which run concepts work best and where to attack the most common meta defenses.
In today’s video, we break down one of the best run plays in Madden 25 and show you how to identify the best running lanes to exploit these defenses. Check it out and start punishing light box defenses!
#4 - How do you like to attack Cover 0 defenses?
Answer:
While there are many different Cover 0 blitzes you’ll face in Madden 25, the good news is that you can attack them the same way through the air—and most can be blocked the same way as well.
To beat man blitzes, focus on two key route types:
- Curls inside the numbers – These create natural separation against man coverage.
- Speed Outs outside the numbers – Quick-breaking routes that give your receiver space on the sidelines.
In the video, we break down exactly how to throw these routes for maximum success, plus a simple but effective blitz pickup strategy using your running back in pass protection. Watch now and start carving up man blitz defenses!
