Question #1: Do you know what new plays were added to the Miami Dolphins playbook in the title update?
Answer: Pistol Wing Flex Close and Gun Tight are the 2 new formations in Miami's playbook. Wing Flex Close offers new pre-snap auto-motion plays and a nice Spacing play to Miami's offensive attack. Gun Tight also has pre-snap auto-motion, plus more traditional plays like Mesh Spot, PA Clear Cross, HB Quick Base, etc. Also, a new route can be found in the Gun Tight MTN Smash Y Shake play. PIHCAM shows the route in the video and you can view the new plays in our Playbook Database.
Question #2: Are there any WR abilities that counter knockouts?
Answer: Short, Mid, and Deep In and Out Abilities will help against knockout interactions against defenders without KO abilities equipped. However, if a defender does have a KO ability equipped for the depth of the pass, In and Out abilities will not be effective. For that reason, PIHCAM believes there are better abilities to equip on offense when defensive KOs are faced so often.
Question #3: What is the best way to block Pinch Buck 0 out of 3-4 Odd?
Answer: There are a few different options when facing Pinch Buck 0. The first is don't block it at all. Instead, stretch the field horizontally and get rid of the ball quickly.
The second option is to Max Protect and slide your O-Line, which still requires a quick throw but will give your QB a little more time. The final option is to block with your HB and half-slide your O-Line. However, this is only recommended against users who drop back into coverage.
For the detailed breakdowns of all 3 options, watch the video!
Question #4: Would you recommend making a custom playbook if my goal is to make top 100 in Regs?
Answer: For players solely focused on Regs or CFM, use custom playbooks. However, if you play MUT then you are unable to equip a custom playbook, so you should familiarize yourself with the team or alternate playbooks instead.
Question #5: Do you try to "blue" every pass when throwing the ball?
Answer: The goal is always to throw the most accurate pass possible but you should not sit and stare at your passing meter. The best way to get "blue" passes while using the Placement & Accuracy passing type setting is through practice and repetition.
