PSA regarding [deleted] transactions

As the MUT-year comes to a close and a new one begins, a lot of new members will find themselves making their first of many [deleted] trades. A few things to remember as you go down this path.

Trades of [deleted] for coins or players are allowed on this site, but not sanctioned by EA. So these trades are all done AT YOUR OWN RISK. Don’t post silver/gold cards for a million coins. They will issue warnings/bans even this late in the year. Along with this, neither EA or [deleted] will be able to recover any content you lose in a scam or a bad deal.

Avoid multi-card trades if possible. When dealing with lob sided trades, I recommend using a trusted middle man or at least get a verbal vouch from an outside source (not one given to you by the potential trade partner)

Keep an eye out for red flags. Trust your gut. If a trade feels shady... it probably is. Examples: few day-old accounts, people who demand you “go first”

Make a rep thread. (link below) Ask for your trade partners rep thread if you’re having doubts. I hope this section of the site will make a comeback soon.

Verify rates. Don’t rip yourself off by falling for a fast talking veteran. Check your consoles trading section and educate yourself on the going rate. This changes constantly and the only person who can set your rate is you!

Ask someone you can trust. Most of you can see the same few names post every day. Message anyone on here and ask them about rates or if they know certain members. A lot of us are happy to help.
