Don't get me wrong, I like throwing down with abilities, but what's this gonna look like a month from now? With a ton of 0/discounted abilities out there, people are gonna have like 22 per side. Kind of nullifies the challenge of implementing AP strategy. Might be nice if some of the better AP bargains were on lower tier players to keep them in play, but things are gonna get super sweaty if they keep ramping this up. Thoughts?
I love how they've done abilities on cards this year. I do wonder how future cards will be. Will we see a 1 or 0ap acrobat or 0ap set feet lead and a 0ap HRM? Thats why I think golden tickets could be the best they've been in years. It's near possible to get 4 or 5 nasty streaks for 1ap each 😆.
I get it. I've just got mixed feeling on it. I like the challenge of really having to prioritize where you put your AP and the fact that my opponent does too. I liked how last year's game was a little more measured with discounted AP cards. The fact that people were using Ryan Fitzpatrick low 90's cheap sfl card or Robert Hunt's 0 post up card late in the year to save AP kept things interesting.
