Do you Lab and how? Last year was the first year that i actually practiced in madden and really utilized practice mode. My problem now is that my playbook the NFC alternative one I can't use in practice mode but I love that playbook and won't switch for now. I'm guessing to lab you just run a play against every type of coverage and see how well it works against every coverage? To utilize that knowledge though you would have to be able to read defenses in games and while I've taken great strides in reading defenses I'm still not the best at it. I could practice plays out of the NFC pb that are also in other playbooks I suppose. I'm not entirely against switching playbooks if I can improve alot by practicing with other playbooks but this NFC pb is so so good. The thing with practicing against the CPU is that the CPU isn't hard and everything seems to work where as H2H seems a little more unpredictable and of course going against an actual human opponent and a user. I mean there's only so many coverages in the game that an opponent can throw at you though the user can make some unique defenses like bringing a lineman into coverage or dropping everyone into coverage 😆. We have MCV ,Cover 2, Cover 3,Cover 4,Cover 6,Cover 1,Cover 0. I know cover 3 has different variations and it looks like they either changed the name or took out cover 3 match. I know having two controllers is important when labbing and I have two. So any tips on labbing and reading defenses and how do you Lab and how good are you at reading your opponents defense and making adjustments? I've come to realize that being focused and paying attention and being knowledgeable is what separates good players from great players in madden. Alot of focus really is needed as it should. Don't know why mut still doesnt have a practice mode. Also any tips for labbing with a playbook that cant be found in practice mode?
Best thing u can do is lab in practice mode and I think the competition is better in all madden seasons and mut champs and when ur playing play attention to what defense ur going against h2h is the best practice even on all pro it’s good for learning plays each play has a main route and If you can identify that route immediately you’ll know where you need to user and catch on to what Ur opp wants to do on offense and if u eber have a really bad game stay in it and try different things and record the game and go back and watch it and see what you could’ve done to get that first down or why you couldn’t stop his offense or blitz 7 and pray
