I've done my solos and am halfway through the field pass and have enough of the new currency to buy 1 upgrade token. Surely this can't be right?
Players quick selling for training is also an odd choice, was this also a mistake?
If these are both intentional choices - are we looking at the worst promo in MUT history? After an extremely poor Sugar Rush it's hard to keep caring about this game.
Same thing happened to me, after the solo challenges and 6 or 7 levels of the field pass I had the exact amount I needed for 1 token. Also, the players don’t quicksell for currency, so any BND players are only used for training.

You forgot to mention that the only thing remotely good about this promo are the LTDs.
And they put the S7 discount bucket, while Sugar Rush Champs has both S7 & S8
Something doesn't smell right about this promo.

It feels like they nerfed the promo. For their own reasons, I can only speculate:
Money. Obviously they want peeps to spend but you are only chasing LTDs and the odds are terrible. Coin making not super easy, cards are cheap but what to do with them? Nothing is super expensive other than LTDs, nothing is in high demand other than LTDs. So you gotta spend to get the big coin makers in the LTDs.
Player retention. Players that may have stopped playing because ROH / Sugar Rush / TOTY cards aren’t as good anymore compared to ASA. This seems the main reason to me. Also, you need to heavily grind for ASA upgrade tokens if you feel you need them, keeping you playing. The nature of the stars packs being a huge gamble but enticing with the chance to get a huge number of stars.
Simplicity: EA wanted something simple that they didn’t have to manage too much. Low risk, high reward program, only meant for you to add a couple players and not blow up your team. Keeps you playing with what you have already.

Hopefully the draft promo is better, one of my favorites yearly. I usually stop MUT a few weeks after the draft promo.

Whats the next promo? Unless you're specific TT is involved these 98s are garbage. The only card im interested in now is that Andre Johnson next week.
