What is your LEAST favorite part about MUT 26?

That’s not bad, and not a good example of why the Auction House take is bad for Madden.

There are so many other things that are really, really wrong.

I've been playing MUT since 2013 and my favorite season is still MUT 15 when Bo Jackson was the exciting 99 card to pull in Ultimate Freeze (now Zero Chill). Back when the fun "stats breaking 99+" time. While it didn't really 'feel' like there was really an advantage with a 102 speed Chris Johnson, it was fun to pull cards breaking the 99 rating.

Then... burnout from MUT time investments and money grab. I took the last 2 seasons off because the daily fomo grind was too much. I also spent more money than I wanted. I came back this year in January to try MUT again. I've spent around $75 on some packs and premium pass for S6 and S7 and have a 98 OVR team.

With my MUT history out of the way, here's what I really don't like about MUT 26.

1.  I extremely HATE the complexity of card upgrading.  This is soooo confusing now.  How the hell are we supposed to keep up and know which cards go into other cards for upgrades?  I absolutely HATE this change.  What was wrong with the simple "spend training" or "insert 95 OVR token" to upgrade cards?  I also hate the nerfing of abilities.  That's a new thing too and it's ridiculous.

2.  The cash grab is the worst I've ever seen.  It was bad enough before, but now all the stacked offers to are crazy!  Someone could easily spend $1,000's on fake digital cards that are worth nothing when MUT 27 rolls out.  I don't mind lite spending, but this cash grab is unbelievable. 

3.  The CPU grind events are just stupid.  Having to grind out 10+ straight wins to get a BND card sucks.  I also HATE that EA changed that you cannot use BND cards in sets.  I know this has been this way for a few years now, but it was nice when they first started using BND on free cards, but also let you use those cards to complete sets.

Other than that... it's still the same ole MUT grind.

Its the player base and game mechanics for me . I understand how good trips te and gun bunch flip etc is but literally every game is the same thing i feel like half player base is brain dead without a hb table route or slot streak people have lost their creativity. Payed 4 mil for vick to play how you played with a bnd qb come on now.

In terms of mechanics there is no fucking way that dime hover should stop  most zone runs in game it’s inconceivable led alone these 2 man and 1 man rushes beat 5 man/ 6 man lines

Input lag in offline mode is the worst. My 98 team plays no different than my 88 team against the CPU.

Waste of time and energy to care anymore. Log in, do daily, play the same plays against the same BS, log off.  Rinse, repeat. I have only myself to blame.

This was my first year playing MUT, and I hate all of the little glitches. The scum kicking, glitch blocking, glitched routes, and speed boosting. TBH I do speed boost but it’s bc everyone else does it and I hope that EA removes it next year.

Easily the worst thing is speed boosting this year. It allows even the worst players who literally suck at the game be able to win and pisses me off more than anything. And its super unrealistic to be able to speed boost across the entire field without ever getting tired or fatigued

There should be a slight pay to win aspect, i agree this is too much. My least favorite part is the difference in usefulness of abilities and X factors. I think they need to be reworked

Harder to be competitive with a nms team for me. Top Cards are the most expensive I’ve seen in a while

Its important to not just let EA get away with thinking one thing tanked madden 26, but I'm going with speed boost or "hard cut feature". That's straight up bullshit, the ballcarrier moving like he ran over a mario kart boost panel. They coded the game so bad and stupid for it to be a thing that we suddenly had to deal with once cards got over certain stat thresholds (COD, right?) 

First they claimed it was a glitch related to QBs  scrambling behind LoS, then they tried to sell it as some super secret "feature". Since when does a company hide a "feature" for a few months into a game's release instead of advertising it? Like boomtech in madden 25. 

Crystals and the whole concept of paying to buff speed is TRASH., maybe #2.

3 a close third place is that defenders refuse to animate to the point that I have a clip of a zone MLB standing in his zone, middle of the field, and the qb throws it literally into his facemask and it bounces off with no reaction.

4 would be horribly worse pack odds and step up offers, somewhat related to #2

I wouldn’t have agreed with this two months ago, but with ability discounts where they are today, most of the Season Pass players aren’t keeping pace. I gradually went from having about ten of these in my lineup to having none at all.

H2h.apparently people don't remember how fun it used to be and defend scummy play as a skill gap again and again

I can’t believe there are people that earnestly argued for speed boosting being a good thing and an intentionally-added feature. Eric Dickerson was the first guy that really showed up with this, and initially his movements seemed subtly glitchy; no one was really referring to this as speed boosting at that time. But as COD’s increased further, it became evident that EA completely botched the function of COD.

Speed boosting alone is enough to ruin the head-to-head experience.

Too many recycled players AND a lot of missing players. Where is my Drew Brees card???
