What is your guys go to for beating this. Idk why but this is the only coverage that gives me problems. I have ran the ball and it has worked like 50% of the time depending on who I am playing agianst. But other times it feels like any and everything is always bagged.

When running against it doesn't work, what is it that's blowing up the run? (There's one especially common answer to this question.)
I have the best luck flooding one side of the field while having back side posts or slants. Mix it up with drags, all streaks, curl routes as they adjust.
Helps to have a qb like Vick too when they drop 8 plus into coverage.
run the ball or send multiple dudes on drag routes w a good pass catching hb on a texas route behind them

usually the user lining up over the nose tackle and I have tried to change linemen assignment to either block the user or just be in the way. Outside runs are iffy because everyone rolls the safeties 8 yds from the line and all of my blockers either miss their assignment or there is too many defenders to block. It could be im terrible at the game tbh.

like crossing drags or same direction or both?

I have the d jones FA which still does work for me atleast.

both directions, there are several plays out of shotgun that have 3 crosses from either direction—you def need to have the option to go to either side

It's a cheater leveraging a glitch. Inside and Outside Zone runs will get blown up because of how the run-blocking rules work in Madden. The "counter" is to not call those types of plays. You can untarget the "hover" defender (the one behind the down lineman), but that will yield unpredictable results.
In the real world, an offensive line would maul this alignment for big games. It's not working the way it should because Madden doesn't work the way football works, and users who leverage glitches like this are sad, sad people who will fail at life apart from video games.

I understand what your saying and agree that they are very sad people but what type of run would you call? I get no outside or inside zones so would that mean power and iso?

Correct. To my knowledge, Inside and Outside Zone runs are the ones specifically defenseless against the hover defender.
Flood concepts, drags and curls is how I beat it if my normal runs don't work. You have to take the space underneath and not try to force over top.
I played a guy the other day that would do that streak fade route with three other streaks out of tight formation and the flanker was wide open down the sideline every time when I tried to run cover 4.
I suppose you could try mixing that in to stop it.
Seems like running whatever gives you trouble for 20 games to see what other people do is useful.
