I refuse to play the game I like due to how sloppy and greedy ea is. They have the ability to make a balanced game, yet they hide animations behind abilities, they have 500$ step up offers that people actually buy…. They have completely ruined the idea of “theme teams” just allowing you to throw on any team chem if the card is expensive enough lol. To top it off they consistently lack to change up the players and recycle old names. There should not be 6 different JSN or Myles Garretts. I’m also not too bad at the game I’m a top 100 player. But it’s very stale gameplay wise, going against the same scheme, same YouTube blitzes, same players every game.

Preach, brother. Sadly, both the league (and EA) absolutely adore the idea of a single entity, easier to control. Unfortunately, this Madden situation will continue to get worse before it gets any better. I've been forced to adjust my approach to the game, but i'm still stuck -- because they know it's not liek we'll go try the other NFL or fatball simulation titles, uggh. Monopoly bad. Running an unregulated casino for literal children, also bad.
From your lips to God's ears.

It doesn’t help all the desired players are LTDs. With removing the 20$ pack that offered a chance at the LTD. Now it’s just a champion..

Hope big man HEARS me up there😂
This year was BAD....like a whole 'nother level of greed with nothing to show for it. All the Crystal offers, $1,400 Lamar card, any usable card being released as LTD...etc. And the gameplay went backwards this year! Please tell me one thing that was fixed or improved from last year to this year.
Now that EA is owned by the PIF, I doubt we see any real changes going forward. I fully expect the Crystal offers to be a weekly promo and the bundle to be $500 next year. The Madden we used to know is completely dead.

The Lamar was the most insane thing I’ve ever seen in MUT. Morals totally thrown out the window. PIF acquiring over 90% of ea should tell you the story…Just utterly disgusted with how much they can get away with, it’s not like there hasn’t been any complaints. Just a big slap in the face to average consumers, who want to enjoy a virtual football game.
cant even connect to this circus server

Really the only way to enjoy Madden is either through Regs or Franchise. The problem with that, these are the same game from 5+ years ago. EA is only putting their resources into the UT game modes so the actual gameplay itself suffers with no advancements. The same glitches from last year are still in the game this year.
Personally, this will be my last year of MUT. The greed was too much! They didn't even pretend to hide it this year.
This year was by far the easiest year to make coins. The gameplay is not that great but it’s also not that bad, it could be way worse. I feel like if you’re a top 100 player you should know better than anyone that you don’t need to spend money to have a competitive team. If you grind enough and are decent at the game you will have a top tier team. It’s either you spend time or money, pick your poison.
They're desperate for more money as described in this article.

Expect matters / monetization to only get worse for consumers. Sadly people will still spend thinking that it makes them exceptional rather than recognizing they're being duped.

Good day
I agree with what you’re saying about the gameplay and to add to that I would say that my cards at launch played better or the same as of now. How is that possible if we’re going by overalls which begs to ask are the stats on these cards even true?
For example, if my receiver has 99 speed and he’s running a drag route and a defender that’s covering him has 96 speed and is behind him . How can he burst in front if he’s running at his max speed and then pick him off if my player has four more speed points?
it’s things like this that just make me scratch my head playing this game.

I agree with what you are saying and could go down a huge rabbit hole on this one.
One of the notes you made....personally, I've always viewed stats as a "guideline, not a rule." EA relies on "dice rolls" to dictate the outcome of a 1v1 matchup (ex. WR vs CB). With so much of the game strictly being animation based (the game dictates the outcome prior to the animation activating), I've always taken stats with a grain of salt.
