Kickoff Return Delays

I've noticed on a lot of kickoffs that my opponent will sometimes catch and just stand there for a second or two before starting their return.... is this on purpose/a tactic? Or is there some sort of delay happening on their end that's screwing them over? I've never experienced this and it's never worked out for them.

totinos break lol.... it happens a lot, but then again.... being on devices while doing other things happens a lot as well.

took the ol lady out to daves hot chicken this week and got them new hot moz sticks.... 🔥

if they move just as you start closing in its def someone coming back to the game

I am generally very unfocused at the beginning of games. Most of the time I look at my phone while waiting for matchups. I might be in the middle of reading something during the kickoff, lol.

i won’t even play the h2h ranked unless im locked in, h2h seasons def more casual play until it becomes playoffs and the coin prizes mean something
