I don't get the hype around this ability or why it is so expensive, the benefits do not seem worth it at all to me.
This will give you both Conductor and QB Playmaker which are both very effective abilities.
Its also the one of the best ones besides using SFL/GS

I get what it does, I just don't get the value I guess. I never have trouble getting adjustments in on time, and QB playmaker is cool but you can still playmaker fairly effectively without it. I'd get it at maybe 4-5 AP, but 11+ is crazy for lower impact abilities to me.

I think it's the fact that 1) it only takes up one ability slot, 2) certain QBs have faster adjustments, so if you're using one of those, then you might not notice as much, 3) conductor allows you to make adjustments faster than your opponents can usually react, giving you an advantage 4) QB playmaker is probably the best ability for a qb in my opinion, the amount of big plays i've had having players turn on a dime and getting wide open because of it.
I think right now I don't think Master Tactician is worth it at all, but as we roll into the end game of madden it'll be a must on all good qbs.

It’s just playmaker combined with conductor, it costs a lot because the aforementioned both cost a bunch
