Yeah, and especially if there’s no player that fit your team or you want, just use your token now and sell immediately
In the context of a release with multiple parts and a collection redemption set, I would choose the player that would cost me the most, which isn't necessarily the same as the player that could generate the most profit on sale when pricing is similar and supply is higher. In a case where I can choose from a subset of auctionable players, I review the items available, but don't select one immediately. I can purchase from the Auction House or build sets knowing my options, and if I bag an unexpected snipe, I can choose from the pack accordingly.
Apart from this, waiting into later parts of a program to redeem currency or sets for a random item or a randomly-determined subset of auctionable players does expose you to choosing from earlier releases with a higher supply and often weaker demand, and I've been burned several times by waiting.

This is a very good plan, IF someone is planning on doing all of the sets.
If they aren’t going to do the sets and plan to sell for coins I would redeem the set right away and sell the most expensive card.

Yep

Me too, pretty sad

The card takes more that 2 and a half amount of tokens as the upcoming 97 UL, Collectors, Flashback. With just 10 more tokens you get 3 97's vs 1 97.
Im trying to have an open mind but i think i agree with this. A lot of people already have their token ready but the options are not clear. I know auction is better than bnd, but if its a card i really really wanted, then selling isn't on my radar
Ultimate Legends will eventually make it to 98, 99 so that might be the best way for tokens.

Only thing I can tell that’s different is that you can choose who you want and it’s seemingly actionable.
Definitely worth it netted me an extra 750 k coins
it was worth it for me, I got the player I wanted. Bear Down

I wouldn't. There is still a chance to get one of the just released players that will be worth less. Better to get it done ASAP

The difference is the Team of the Year are for 65 tokens is auctionable and the others you get for 25 tokens are not
I claimed the token when it first became available. Even though I pulled Hamilton and sold for 800k it wasn’t worth it. That’s almost 3 bnd weekly players I could have collected. It just depends on how you look at it and if you preferred bnd players or coins.
Edit: if I could do it again I wouldn’t have did the 65 token set 😂 3 players of the same overall is always better than 1. But weekly spotlight players don’t necessarily get the best ability buckets

If you plan on keeping the card then I understand this but if you’re selling the card you should of redeemed the set yesterday. These card will only go down in price. I can almost guaranteed none of the new ones will sell for 800k when they drop.
They did me kinda dirty on this. Hunter, bijan, and Dexter Lawrence. Hunter and bijan showed auction values but nothing showed for Lawrence and wouldn't let me click the card to find anything out. I picked bijan because he was selling higher than hunter, only to find out Lawrence was 100k more...
