There are many threads in this Forum on how to make coins and many videos on YouTube, but some of the basics are playing the game itself (especially online H2H), snipe set pieces and sell the set card for profit, and timing the market (buy cards low/when in greater supply and sell when high/supply goes down).  Once you spend some time trying to build a coin stack, you will find that there are so many coin making opportunities, you can't do them all.

buy the strep up platinum packs cosy roughly $10-15 and yields at least 250k coins

or sell your ltds, play and win h2h seasons

Fastest way is probably winning the event and getting the token to sell the card.  This event right now is the hardest yet and even pros are struggling. Wait till the next one it will probably be easier.

Second fastest is winning superbowls in the h2h legend division. I timed it earlier because somone told me there was better ways, 1 hour and 41 minutes to win 300k coins.

def play the h2h seasons, losses dont mean shit and evrryone playing knows…if you score first and get a stop the opponent will generally quit unless its their playoffs or super bowl game (youll see the logo in the top right corner)

I just started a few weeks ago, I didn't know there were good ways to build without spending any $$, I spent 200 . Got super lucky on a cpl ltds. I'm at 96O 97D with 8.2M but after TOTY, I'm sure I'll be broke 😂 not really though, there's only 4 of today's that I'll pick up. Im still enjoying the Genki and combine cards.
