As in, Do they fail to show the correct OVR on a reveal? I don't hold a position either way, but I was expecting that we would be building Champion Flashbacks with 94's tomorrow.
I think tomorrow's set flashbacks will be 96 ovr still
I expect base 96’s through combine and get the OVR bump to 97 when TOTY drops. This model would follow last year as well.
Should be ovr bump next week.
Combine will be thurs/sat/mon or tues then ovr bump Wednesday.

So combine is a one-week program after all?

Based off combine leaked buffs expiring 3/5, yes.
Weird. In MUT 25, NFL Combine was a two-week program. Team of the Year had better be amazing, as Combine will just be a blip.

Easter is a lot earlier this year being the reason why I believe. They will have two weeks to push toty before having to drop easter mid-late march.
Sugar rush *should* be march 19th

Well, this is where tradition gets in the way of good sense. Why do we get a calendar built around Zero Chill Version Two when the Combine is the second-biggest off-season NFL event, lesser than only the draft itself?
I mean, most of these programs are just the same vehicle in a different wrap, but Combine tends to be one of the more interesting programs of the MUT year. A one-week calendar kills it out of the gate.

Yeah I feel the same way but I guess I dont mind getting all combine cards in a short amount of time vs waiting two weeks. They will still hold their worth on the field for plenty of time if they follow previous years trends. Toty has been somewhat of a letdown recently, maybe they improve on that. I dont have much hope tho.

I hadn't realized when I started playing MUT in 2023 that that year's Team of the Year was actually pretty good. In the two years that followed, there wasn't the same juice.
Hoping this next one will be good, and not merely incrementally better than last year's.

Years ago before xfactors started on and the invention of aka players, toty dropped every january and were some of the best cards next to ultimate legends.
They just feel like tt fillers recently since they pushed the promo back so late in the year and kind of lost its old spark.

An actual indicator that base 97 will start next week with Flashbacks:
I looked at the Flashback BND spotlight token set and it expires in 7 days.
Also looked at the Collector Series BND spotlight token set and it expires in 12 days.

Never thought to look there. Thanks! If I had started buying 94's, I would definitely have weakened my position getting into Combine. Last year, I had come out of a disappointing Super Bowl program with a bunch of rapidly devaluing Team Diamonds, only a few coins, and not the greatest abilities. Combine delivered the first end-game items, of which I was able to afford very few, and I didn't recover until I made massive coins with All-Star Athletes.

Well it sounds like you’re more prepared this year! I spent most of Genki making coins so I’m in a great spot for the foreseeable future.
