how do i play defense in this game

i used to be high hero, stopped playing for a bit and now im hard stuck silver. Its not like my teams bad or anything im at a 96 rn but its either I stop the run and they pass all over me or its the other way around. Ive watched videos on meta defenses to try and figure it out but still nothing works and atp its genuinely unenjoyable to play

Bro, if you don’t spend on this game, you’re not gonna win fool come on Madden‘s all about spending money they don’t give a shit the algorithms doesn’t matter. You’re gonna go 500. It doesn’t matter if you don’t spend thousands of dollars on this gonna go 500 if you’re good.

Such a sorry take. There is no algorithm that detriments players who don't spend money on the game. That's a crazy cope. I am NMS and I'm 83-10 in Ranked this season running off meta schemes with a Cardinals TT... just get better at the game if you want to win.

Pray to jesus your dline gets a decent pass rush, or you get a flukey stop. Then play solid on O, and manage the clock. However, there are some games that just are not winnable. Had a game last night, where I drop 3 picks in one drive, he scores to close the half, then forces a fumble on opening kickoff second half, then gets a dline swat AND PICK animation. Like, all that in one game is too much to overcome. Then the following game my 99 speed corners were giving it up to 94 OVR puka nacua, that's when I know it's time to get off for the day

Defense the past couple of weeks is literally insane they did something to nerf defense i think. If you have even a half competent opponent they will score literally every single drive. Its a race to whoever has the ball last.

I got three avalanche x factors. Fletcher which is always on, schwesenger which is on half the time and got it on user ghenki card which needs one hit stick to activate with indoor baller. Getting fumbles is the only way to get stops unless you have a crazy switchstick.

One tip is to put fletcher with avalanche as your mike 3 and kickoff with heavy formation to the right side. I've gotten a lot of fumble 6's doing this.
