I know some people around here are lifers, and may go crazy, but seriously... how many of you would pay 1400-2000 if it would literally give you every current card in the game right now.
I know for a fact I wouldn't! EA's own model disapproves of this idea. There is no long-term investment opportunities in this game, but they want you to spend money like there is. Maybe if they didn't reprint their game very year and recharge you for all the same cards every year...
Maybe if Madden just received updates and you were allowed to update your collection, and they instead focused on fixing gameplay, eradicating DDA, building up competitive gaming, and coming up with new ways to compete and play based on team compositions...
but considering everything on this game has a maximum life cycle of one month before there are better options, or the same options are cheaper, it is ridiculous pricing for a ridiculous business model. Also considering they will reprint the game with different bugs and recharge you for everything..
