As for EA, welcome to the club. I got into with them last year and the same thing happened. after months of going 50% wins, I started an account in a farm, jumped up to 90+%. Continues that win percentage for months.
How does this refund work. EA banned my first account after 5 days (supposedly for online cheating). I played three games online and poof teh account was gone

If I get someone with an equal roster, it is brutal. A guy was up 48-8 on me last night who had a 92 OVR team. smh.
