All that said, I think that this is the actions of one or few people who work at EA Help. Everything points that way. And EA Help is not really EA. It is its own thing and EA contracts with them for tech assistance, customer service and social media. I would like to see EA Help be disbanded over this. I find it offensive that some poor Indian person is being exploited by EA to do the same work for less money than EA would otherwise pay if they didn’t offshore this part of their business. At any rate..

Do you know how to reach the REAL Ea? Anyone have a number, an email other than the ones permeating the web that are EA Help?

EA actually stands for Extraterrestrial Anomaly, and it is it's own entity with way more technically advanced mind control devices that we could even comprehend. They also have god like powers and have begun placing these "holds" of some sort on our accounts. Really, they are just tags to identify who to abduct and begin the mind control process as they slowly start world domination. I'm sure you'll be probed soon, enjoy.

I've done sets and not received the pack for it... A few days ago I opened a pack from the companion app and the card appeared as a BND 🥲.

But Ive not experienced a negative team modifier

Raymond, do you know why a person stays in an abusive relationship? Because in the beginning it was the best thing they ever had, the person experienced euphoria and joy. That being said, what you are talking about is absolutely 100% in the game and happens frequently. Just like everything else EA produces, it is broken and doesn't work correctly... but it is called DDA (Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment) and it absolutely will alter the way your players play from game to game. Typically the better you are the harder it will cheat you, that is the general design. However like I said before, EA breaks everything so once you are set into a specific bracket of DDA whether that is getting a ton of help, a smaller impact, or getting completely screwed you are absolutely hard stuck in that bracket. 

I have had some terrible DDA over the years, my players are always slower, react poorly, don't do their jobs, won't target ballcarriers in pursuit, fumble more frequently, drop the ball frequently, are always just short of the first down and more... so I just had to learn unique ways to play and find ablities that work consistently enough to circumvent some of the issues generated by the DDA. It is a lot harder to win once you are hard-stuck in the crappy dda bracket, but it is possible cause I still win a lot of games now.

DDA first showed up in Madden 15 in a very limited capacity, but has since grown year over year, with Madden 19 and 20 being the absolute worst years I have ever experienced. These days it will still straight up make games unwinnable from time to time, but I am allowed to win enough games to still have fun.

Your MCS winners are typically guys who both are very very good at Madden and possess positive DDA where 50/50 things just seem to go their way consistently.

Sums up my experience as well. Players drop passes all the time even with WR abilities, defense looks lost, drops interceptions constantly, react slowly even with KOs, o-line sheds instantly with pass pro and protected, etc. This year, my players constantly run into each other, leaving people open or keeping them from running routes on my offense. Doesn't happen for the other team though. Even when I scheme my routes to make them bump into each other.

They do nerf your team. It's not that far fetched. In challenges/solos, your team plays totally different when facing rookie difficulty compared to All Madden. The only difference online is that there is one person on the opposing team controlling one player. That leaves all other players up to AI, just like in challenges/solos. So one side, the favored side, plays better with All Pro or Madden level AI while the other team is using a lesser AI like Pro. At least that's my theory. It's not impossible to overcome, just difficult.

I'm not sure I think they target one person. But they do have something in place to make you feel like your team isn't good enough and you should spend money to make it better.

I have never had game play issues but i have purchased season passes and not been given the pass or my money back and I've also bid in the auction house and lost the bid and not got my coins back. I've contacted them about this and they pretty much said no refund pr help so I no longer purchase anything in game so if I lose out its not real money and I've managed to build up quite a few coins.

After it, I noticed that the name of my team had been changed, and when I took the field, I noticed that my players moved at about half the speed they used to. I’ve spent since then trying to fix it. And I know beyond any doubt (at this point) they attached a negative modifier of some sort to my account. My team makes mistakes, is slower and less responsive to inputs, and I almost never win a game. On paper, my Rasheed Shahid runs 99. In the game, on the field, he runs more like 90. I’ve seen him on everyone’s teams. Anyone can observe this anomaly. There’s just too many irregularities. And this affect can be observed by anyone who I put in the field.

Now, before you dismiss me thinking that I must be a crazy person who is accusing EA of putting some kind of negative modifier on my account, you should know that I have both video evidence to show that my players do not perform to the same level as the exact players on other teams do. In fact, the sudden influx of bandwagon riders on my Seahawks have made that very apparent as more and more teams have almost my identical roster. I just can’t help but think — I wish my 99 OVR K-9 moved like the rest of you’all’s.

Opponents have even noticed that my team does not perform. Last week I played a kid who beat me with an 87 OVR team. He observed that his players should never have been able to keep up with mine and, well, they weren’t just keeping up : they were both stronger and faster. He called a bunch of his friends to observe the anomaly and they are all believers of my plight today. You can’t unsee it once you see it.

I have spent the last weeks trying to fix my team. Currently I have a 96 OVR team that reads speeds and strengths like you can imagine and yet, teams rated in the low 90’s and high 80’s can beat me in tournament play because, well…their players are both faster and stronger than mine.

Furthermore, I have evidence from a chat with EA Help that confirms that someone did indeed put something on my account. The person at EA Help I reached that day said that they did not have the authority to remove it. I recorded the chat. 

So, I KNOW what is happening to me. I’m not here to have any of you tell me I’m right, and I could care way less if you think I’m wrong. Without question they have Nerfed my account. I’m the one experiencing this. What I don’t know is how to fix it. And what I want to know is, has this ever happened to you?

I don’t think I can stop what they did to me alone. So, if you think they did this to you  — maybe they did. If they can do it to one of us they can do it to any of us. 

I need help. Help fighting back. I’m open to ideas and I just want to play this game on an even playing field with everyone else again. EA should not be tampering with wins and losses by targeted Nerfing of accounts. Most of us came here for fair competition. That’s all I want.

You can use that brain power  and energy you put in to this into something more deserving of you time.  Its being wasted in the gambling sim.

As for EA, welcome to the club. I got into with them last year and the same thing happened. after months of going 50% wins, I started an account in a farm, jumped up to 90+%. Continues that win percentage for months.

What does that mean? Are you saying you started a new account and it stopped? How do I start a new account when everything is tied to my PS5? Also, ya, not an Xbox user.

Yes. That makes sense. If you are not paying attention to the problem. You clearly misunderstood EVERYTHING that is being discussed.

Whether I audible, don’t , whatever playbook — irrelevant. When the opposing team is DEMONSTRABLY FASTER AND STRONGER YOU LOSE. Period. I don’t care who you are, you can’t win like that.

This issue is OBSERVABLE. But why would you observe when it is so much easier to ignorantly judge?
