I’ve been in the hospital the past few days and I’ve missed dailies, the ring seekers set, the one day event yesterday and the LTD packs. Tried it again today and it gives me the airplane animation, the Xbox logo and sound, a black screen and then eventually goes back to the console icon where I started. Really hoping I can find a way to get back on because I probably won’t be going home this week unfortunately.

It has been this way for months for me. I can remote play on the same network but I lost the ability to remote play away from home.
Ever since the big outage a few months back, it hasn't worked like it used to despite no changes on my end.
Now that Madden is on cloud gaming, that could be an option if you have Xbox game pass or Amazon Luna

A lot of times when i'm away i will use the remote play. When it doesn't work, i use my internet providers app and reset my internet. Most of the time that works. If not a simple power cycle of the console does it.
