I bought the game late, is there a way I can get the stocking stuffer upgrade token and season 4 tokens without spending real money?

As a couple people said, you do have to spend some good coin to get the stocking stuffer upgrade token(s).

Upgrade tokens from previous seasons cannot be earned, so no S1, S2, S3, or S4 tokens.

That is off auction. The only way to get them is to do a set with 16 select stocking stuffers. There's 4 of the sets. You receive the 16 cards back bnd. You can probably get most for around 20k, but some hover around 40-50k.

They may be useless by then, but you can wait till next season… they will probably let you use training to upgrade them instead of the token.

I wouldn't bank on this advice. It has precedent with the Combine players in MUT 25, but it's not the norm.

The method I used was to buy a pair of Zero Chill 83's and any 83 to make a Zero Chill 85, do that again, and combine those with any 85 to build a Stocking Stuffer. I would immediately put the Stocking Stuffer on the Auction House at a listing price that made the tedium worth my time. Eventually I completed all of the sets at zero net cost. Find the target prices and click away.
