I’d pay $100 to have the old kick meter back I can’t make a field goal to save my life. I have 95 kick power 90 kick accuracy miss them all I suck lol
Did you just get M26? It only takes a few games to get use to it. IMO, kicking the long FG is a tad bit easier now, and the short FG's and xtra Pts are automatic (you can pretty much release it as soon as you tap the button)
Although we don't get as much cheaters who mess with connection as in the past, every once in awhile you still do, or just an opponent with terrible connection . . side benefit, the new kick meter is better to combat that vs the Tap Tap with the connection lags, still a mess on long kicks, but anything mid and short you don't have to worry how quick you release so you have a wide margin of error to work with.
same here i literally just go for 2 now just because might as well im sorry but kicking is the part of the game i want to turn my brain off not sweat more.
Im sorry unc but there is nothing difficult about this kick meter. I would suggest go tap n tap if you aren’t already
I consistently bang 60+ yarders every game and so do my opponents if you have anyone with above 90 kpw you don’t even have to full meter anything unless its like a 65+
i hate it so much.
I use the ability to slow the kick meter on fgs over 45 yards.

Kicking is difficult this year and i'm a huge fan of the new meter. Not because it's easy, but because it's hard... kicking game shouldn't be a guarantee, especially now that we can boom them from the opposite side of the field. Gets even more complicated when you add in some latency from online games, especially if you're matched up against an opponent with shitty WiFi or halfway across the country.
First, your settings -- Tap & Hold, right? Use the Zen Kicker, or whatever ability grants you the slow kick meter over 45 yards, that should help SOME. Make sure you have a +5 Kick Power (purple) Strategy item, which should increase your max distance. You'll get the hang of it, just takes some repetition and luck... you have to anticipate for the lag, which can be an incredibly difficult variable to account for. If you let the button up too soon, you won't get max range, but if you experience lag, the power meter will get up to the top, where you bump up against the wobbly max power kick meter situation, which is less than ideal.

Same...the new kick meter sucks
Anybody kicking or punting in this game?
Yea that kick meter is absolute garbage. EA screwing over people any way they can.
I'm good up to 55 yarders, you don't need the whole power bar for those. After that its 50/50.

i personally like tap & tap, i feel like with input delay and lag the meter actually stops where i want it to with tap & tap compared to tap & hold. but after all it is just personal preference
