In real life if an auto motion play is called over and over the defense will react correctly, in madden they won’t even when you tell that player to react to that exact thing that is happening. And yes it can be stopped but by doing bunch of shit pre snap but that’s not fun for everyone, again football knowledge should over ride and then make that player make a real READ to find the weakness that was left by taking away the bs but sometimes unless you can hit a bunch of buttons before they snap the ball you can’t just call a simple defense coverage that should and would in real life take that away.

Football knowledge is adjusting on the fly. What do you think teams do at halftime? Smoke drink and gamble? 

We just don’t have the luxury of an approximation of 15 minutes to look calibrate and adjust. I understand completely what you’re saying. The run pass glitch is a glitch. That’s not cool.

Being a reasonable,intellectually honest person is knowing that there’s SO MANY football programs at the high school level and above that run SO Many different things that everyone has their own niche to things? The world doesn’t revolve around you and your knowledge. If this is football, then you have too much to learn.

Running RPO reads is brainless I also said I can stop it because I play enough to understand the logic of the game. NOT EVERYONE  has the TIME to so like I said it should be real life football knowledge that works. If you ever played football a coach will tell you to only focus on that part of a read option game plan. I don’t care what else is happening this is your responsibility and I don’t want us to get beat here. 

That’s what is not happening in madden it’s based off of how the players are aligned and different formations or where a player is standing can change it all up. That is not what a big part of the game base wants to have to understand when they know what is coming and how it should be stopped but there players won’t do it. You should be able to change players responsibilities, without having to realign your entire defense or go into practice mode so you can see who is the read key in every formation. I should just be able to tell him to change that and leave a weakness else where which can be then become the users responsibility. 

Also yes maybe you can see ok that’s happening this is how I know can use that and find another way to beat it, that’s part of the READ the defense and makes a good player but 90% of people wouldn’t understand that and bam there goes there game plan and they will end up quitting most times. But they use a flaw to the for there game plan, they don’t understand how to adjust so if you can that’s good but we aren’t talking about those type of players. We are talking about the ones that will sit in that play an entire game and think they are good

I’m not saying that putting them in conflict is a glitch at all I’m saying there are certain things that I know how to stop based off of real football knowledge but the players just won’t do it based off the logic of the game, even when I tell them to and bad players that don’t understand how to make reads will abuse it. 

You could have top NFL players and coach’s that are much more knowledgeable in football schemes play madden and be like wtf this should take that away and leave this part of the field where I should get beat. I don’t expect the game to just play for me but when I know what’s coming and they just refuse to take that away with out having to hit a bunch of button pre snap and then next years madden it no longer works because they realized it was an issue with the code. 

Example a few years back qb wrap from the ravens PB was so broken it didn’t matter what your read keys were set to they just didn’t do it. Now that play dosent even work.

Yes there is a stop for everything but it shouldn’t be so cumbersome to do it for someone spamming it. If in real life cover 2 would shut it down it should in the game then let the person have to make a read that beats the cover 2. Just make it so when cover two gets beat it gets beat at the weakness in that defense etc. 

There is rpo read bubbles if I man up any player I should override anything the game originally assigned that player to do and he should only focus on the bubble. But that’s not the case you have to make sure he’s not the read key and your in a formation that allows that not everyone has time to or really wants to figure all that out. It’s people taking advantage of bad game coding and logic applied. 

That’s the issue with the people that abuse certain plays. Having to make all those adjustments when in reality it shouldn’t simply be man up that bubble and it’s bagged everytime that’s real life football.

I think an algorithm is already in the game, mostly based on win streaks and win%.  I finally finished ranked to get to champ rank today, but there was a moment that I lost 8 of 10 games after the 5th straight loss I logged out of the game completely.  Once I restarted, I won 7 of 8 games.  I think the matchmaking algorithm needs a hard reset occasionally.  You'll never escape all of the super cheese players, but it's part of the game 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Your not understanding at all, first i understand how the logic works because I play a decent amount so I don’t have much issues. But it is very annoying I shouldn’t have to hit 10 different buttons pre snap and hope I get them in before they snap the ball. 

I should be able to change my players assignment and him listen but that’s not what happens the coding overrides it and they don’t do it. Simple football knowledge should work so I call a certain coverage it stops that route or area of the field, meaning the other player now has to READ the defense and find the new weak spot  and go else where.

You're speaking a different language here. Nothing you said is relevant because:

• "Madden isn't a football simulation"
• "If you have stick skills it's not a problem"

I think these are garbage takes, but you're trying to take on a straw man here. You're trying to shoehorn a rational football explanation into the cracks of a philosophy that isn't even pretending Madden is a football game. The solution here, as has previously been stated many times by the players who are similarly aligned, is that you're asking Madden to be something it's not, and you should find something you can enjoy.

This is, of course, positively ridiculous, but since there are players that accept things as they are, it's unlikely Madden will change for the better.

There was a time when I was harsh on Madden detractors, arguing that the artificial intelligence needed to make ten CPU-controlled players function seamlessly as a team was too complicated for the technology of the late-aughts. Almost twenty years later, the commercial AI market has a value into the trillions, and there's little excuse for the sort of nonsense that happens in Madden. You've nailed the issue, but it's a non-issue with the people you are debating with. In their view, the broken bits are weaknesses to be exploited, and if you're complaining about that, you're creating your own problem.

Well IRL you definitely can't hot rot an entire new play out of an RPO, which you can do out of a certain trips y flex rpo. So apply that to your general football knowledge and make it make sense
