Just need some tips I’m an above average mut player have been playing mut for about 8 years now. I just can’t get good at switch sticking its really seems like you have to know exactly what routes your opponent has on every player to have a great switch stick. Like how do yall know what route is being ran every play. I need to get better at this to go to the next level any help is appreciated!
Switch stick is one of those things you are going to suck at for a LONG time before you get good at it. Felt the same way learning how to user back in the day. Also, knowing the weak spots in your defense helps a ton. If you have a cloud flat, know a deep corner is probably coming to that side, etc. Also sometimes you can make the perfect switch stick, and they still get bailed out by an agg catch or a shitty defensive animation. MUT life.
Practice, practice, and more practice. They're super clutch when you figure them out
I gave up on it. I just wish I could stop doing it on accident and leaving a guy wide open.
Im not great at it, but it helps to know what routes tend to be open vs the coverage your calling. Ill call my defense knowing theres a weakness somewhere that I may need to switch stick to if I want to cover it
I don’t see the complexity here it’s just pressing a button. Pretty easy to do

The best way to switch stick is to read the field like you would on offense, and think about what routes would get open against your coverage.
a key thing people arent mentioning is your formation. switch sticking out of a symmetrical coverage tends to be easier and more effective. i.e. you won’t accidently switch stick onto someone and cook their coverage responsibilities
Easiest formations are cover 2s and 4s, cover 3s are genuinely okay just be wary switch sticking over to your safety on the curl as if you mess it up you’ll end up on the deep blue corner and pull him off his coverage
best way to do it is to switch stick straight away to your slot (down and hard 45 degree to the left or right depending on what side the slot is on). it’ll take their eyes away from any corner or zig, then after a second, you’ll probably see someone running across the middle, switch to the linebacker again (right stick down and slight left or right dependant on what linebacker)
if you’re having to do more than 2 switch sticks per play on average either your pass rush sucks or your opponent is incredibly good in the pocket. I’ll only ever really switch onto these types of players. Sometimes a safety deep or corner if i see a deep crosser

Hey Bob thanks for your input but I’m not gonna fall for your shenanigans! I physically know how to switch I was mainly meaning how does players seem to know what route every player is on to switch stick to them and take them away. If you would like you can add me on ps my tag is mut_junkie you can show me how good your switch is !

Why would I play someone who doesn’t even know the buttons of the game? And for what? Wasting my time for you to prove something?
100 dollars. I’ll send you my info
