My 90 OVR non abilitiy OLine actually holding up against 94 OVRs with DoN
Plenty will claim that “it’s not in online gameplay” but I’ve experienced both sides of it for years. I try not to get too wrapped up in all the +1’s to attributes and speed from Theme Teams because the sliders in the background are helping balance some of that shit out anyways. In MUT 25 I don’t think I ever even created a full Theme Team. Haven’t in this game yet either and I still compete just fine in H2H.

IIe known for a while Madden can modify ratings in game
Look at playing challenges against the CPU on all madden difficulty
An 85 speed CPU DB will run just as fast as a 99 speed WR - and speed is the most straightforward, easiest to observe rating in the game

Lmao you don’t even know what you’re talking about. There’s a difference between RNG and DDA. RNG is a function the produces unpredictable events. DDA is a game mechanic that will change certain events based on a players performance using an algorithm.
RNG is 100% in online gameplay, DDA has never been proven to be in online gameplay.
Half of the people on this site don’t even know what they’re talking about. You are a prime example.

Every time I fire up a new farm account this is the experience. I think EA doesn’t have enough data on you to tailor the game in order to quote, “keep players engaged” until around 40 games of h2h. You get great pulls great rng/dda on your side etc.
They wanna reel you in make you think it’s fun, which it is when EA isn’t being the worst
Then the data is collected.
The glitch crap, bs metas etc are annoying yes but as a competitor it’s up to me to counter, defeat, whatever you want to label it to overcome it. EA and it’s bs on the other hand, that’s what drives people away imo. Farm accounts just don’t seem to have these issues, until ~40 h2h games.

Oh wow, no theme team? THat feels liek a massive missed opportunity, especially this season. Theme teams are absolutely essential for those of us playing Squads, having our boosts stack on top of one another is extremely dominant, although there's a ticking clock on that, as we quickly approach those maximum (99) speeds and relevant stats.
However, i absolutely agree with the overall premise -- the bulk of these things (including stats) are absolutely meaningless, if not outright misleading. All the kids arguing over how they won't use a card because "low strength" or "low play recognition" etc. etc. and on and on it goes.

Love to hear about these type of experiences... i have my spare account, but haven't yet attempted to take it into an actual competitive (online H2H) game. At this point i may just retire before i start fresh, but time will tell. Got two recent email replies (from EA no-Help) which were identical form letters. Can't make this shit up, they don't even take the time to determine that another coworker literally just sent the same exact email within the past ~24 hour period before firing off more bullshit lying to and misleading us.
Sorry i'm a bit off topic with my ranting, but might be relevant or useful for your purposes, sir.

He didn’t use the term “DDA” but that’s literally what he’s describing in the post. DDA and RNG go hand in hand my friend. DDA is deciding who gets “positive RNG” as he said, which he believes is because he’s using a shitty team in comparison to his opponents.
The difference between you and I is that I believe and agree with him because I’ve seen it many many times. I have no problem taking L’s and understanding why I took the L. I have never blamed my losses on DDA as many seem to do. I tip my cap to my opponent and hope I can learn something from the experience. All that being said, I refuse to ignore the obvious adjustments going on in the background in favor of one team, even if it’s my team. I have genuinely felt bad for my opponent at times when I can clearly see ridiculous shit happen in my favor that has no business happening.
Now I’m not trying to convince you of anything, I’m simply stating my own experience. I’m not looking to argue or to be proven wrong or right. I associate with many different people that believe different things and I get along great with all of them.
If only EA could employ a few people to work on Madden with the same passion you have for defending DDA we would all be enjoying this game a whole lot more!

I used to really enjoy building up theme teams but in the last couple of years I just got tired of upgrading all the chems and changing shit around. I don’t have a favorite NFL team so I just enjoy using players that I like or cards that look fun or helpful for my team. Although I don’t play squads so maybe it would matter more if I did.
Reading my opponents and adjusting to what they’re doing is way more valuable to my gameplay than all the +1’s.

Trust me I know what he said. He use “not in online gameplay” and put the quotations on that because I’ve said that quite a bit. He literally thought DDA was RNG.
