Yep, tried that too. I did have one victory left over from last week was already 1-0. Played another game in the CPU event still didn't get anything.

You gotta play through from start to finish after the new player release. Same thing happened to me.. Started this round after game 3 and it didn't give the reward... Played through again... Boom. Plus a 94 Landman from one of the event player packs. Free 350k coins.

I was 1-0 when I started playing the event again after the new players were released in Part 2, and I didn't get the reward either. I'm trying a fresh run now.
