I have a slot receiver with slot o matic. I’ve noticed I can run the same route multiple times times and it doesn’t always light up on the cut. It lights up on the catch but you can see the difference in the route they run when it lights and when it doesn’t.
Anyone know why that is?
Slot o activates when they're in the slot, but just on slot receiver. I use it on my outside receiver for example but when I move then between the hash closer to the tackle the game considers that the slot and it'll activate.
When you're seeing it not activate its your receiver maybe not in the slot and actually outside the hash?
Also, abilities aren't 100% this year to activate, a lot are random so that could be a factor as well.

Yeah definitely in the slot. Maybe it’s your last point then, I didn’t realise they changed that. Although gunslinger works on all throws so it’s seems a bit strange that some abilities consistently work, and others dont.
