Not only is it annoying as hell both in H2H and offline, but honestly feel like celebrating every damn thing creates an even more toxic culture in this game

Ea feeds off the toxic environment.
They believe people being toxic and nasty to each other will push people to rage spend money to make their team better. Watch any of the past twitch Madden championship streams. Its literally grown men hollering nasty words and taunting each other the whole time.

thats behavior in most games though.
My "favorite" is when it pauses the hurry up offense for a sack celebration.

Thanks for the response, that makes a lot of sense, unfortunately. Now that I think about it, is there a AAA game that has a multiplayer mode that doesn’t have a super toxic vibe? EA has a hand in most of them

I’ve only watched the MCS streams… but they are surprisingly calm and reserved for the most part. I rarely see them yell or throw things, or even speak much. Kinda shocked me bc imma mess over here. Lol
They force the celebrations in solos to time gate objectives. Without them it would take half the time to blow through offensive objectives.

If you flick the right stick it chooses a celebration and immediately pops up the play selection screen, you don't have to wait.
Also, it doesn't always work, but if you celebrate when you're running into the endzone it automatically ends the solo challenge and you don't have to wait to watch the post TD celebration.

Dang. Did not know that. Thanks for the heads up. I can't imagine anybody but kids under the age of 15 and tools like the constant celebrating in the game (or real life for that matter lol. Do you actually get a first down if you don't signal it's a first down?)
