ZC Hangover - New Cards Look Lame

Hard to get excited for regular cards after drowning in free frozen abilities for giant OOP freaks. 

In particular the season pass cards seem very underwhelming. Definitely not touching undersized FS and micro sized WR. Edge is too crowded for Kearse after stocking stuffers and Maye won’t compete against Vick or the Playoff cards that will get discounted abilities. 

Even the LG probably won’t start for me as 94 overall.

Just stat wise they are worse though.  Speed is less than all the 94 even 95 speed guys we just got.

My gripe is Bijan. Best back in the NFL and his card does not look good. Higgins card looks good though

Idk why these cards “look lame”. I mean Maye has pretty good stats. People crying because he can’t get 96+ speed and people can’t play without him? Or that Steve smith is 5’9 an you can’t just lob it up to a 6’8 receiver? Seems like any card that isn’t easy to exploit the cpu with is lame to people

Even though the 0 AP abilities and ZC/GOM boosts will go away, the stats and physical attributes (plus cheap cost  -- less than 400k for an LTD) of the cards will make them hard to move on from. Even when the frozen freight train on HB Vick costs AP, I will still us him as HB on my 60/60 Eagles TT.   Somehow, I think EA will find a way to move us though.

I mean we just got a 94 speed 6'4" corner that is basically a rental. They can't make a new 6 foot even corner 95 speed?

They should tone down Oop anyways. It’s also just the season pass players. There isn’t much that they could actually do with them dropping between zero chill and playoff promo

always activated x factors and every card including qbs to be 99 speed before we’ve even passed 95 ovrs  I promise u you’ll be okay 🤣🤣

Sold my team today. ZC was sooo good. Looking forward to the playoff/SB promos

Bro I’m fine, I’m just pointing out that we spent a month with supercharged content that probably isn’t coming back for a while. 

I would normally be pumped for a free Champ Cooper D, but he’s going to struggle to be more than a Dime corner with OOP Moss and TO plus Diggs already on the squad.

Stats on QBs (other than speed) are meaningless at this point of the year. 

The only things that matter are release, hot route animations and ability discounts.

ZC is really the pinnacle of MUT for most people. I personally don't enjoy it as much as most, I like the ability to make coin but I hate playing all the 0 AP abilities all the time. Early season MUT when there aren't many abilities is the best test of skill, to me at least. After ZC we usually do get a little bit more normal football because the playoff promo doesn't drop nearly as many cards as ZC...but if your favorite team isn't in the playoffs then it can kind of suck. Bears fan here and finally looking forward to a playoff promo.
