99 Offense/Defense now possible

For those that have been interested in team OVRs  and getting to 99, full 99 lineup should now be possible aside from punter and long snapper, go wild.

For those that know OVR doesn’t really matter as far as players play, please save your breath, that isn’t what is being said and that isn’t what this is about.

There is no way, in the first few days of January we should be able to get a 99 squad. Power curve is fucked.

Definitely. They just keep compounding bad decisions to further accelerate power creep unfortunately.

They made the same mistake last year in fifa and it killed the game. This year they have made a conscious effort to slow the curve and it’s better. I mean, you hit a 99 in January, what are you grinding for til August? They’ve killed their own game.

I mean I think you can still play for fun lol. But yea, obviously they are always powercreeping so you feel like you  need to be grinding/paying for the best stuff but even with accepting that reality I think  it’s been too fast and the jumps too large this year

Are we 100% sure OVR's don't matter? I have a theory that they do. Speed is relative becuase at the beginning of the year the speed ovr's are low but still play fast because they are relatively fast against the other low ovr speeds. I think EA takes ovr's into account when determining relativeness of attributes. Who knows if that is right though.

moreso trying to get ahead of the people who pull up to write dissertations about why you're not supposed to care about OVR lol

Madden isn’t fifa most madden players stop playing when their teams season is over  hence power creeping 99s right around playoff time, syphon as much money as possible. And the ones that stick around after will stick around all year anyways no matter what whether the cards are barely any better or not they’re the addicts and you don’t need to try very hard to keep them spending.
