I've personally noticed that slanting the d-line to attack outside helped to get people that scramble to the sidelines every play, contain hasnt been working for me

This right here. You can win the game on defense so many more opportunities to score on defense and rack up points. Dive before getting hit go out of bounds dont go for the extra yards for cutback every time. Maximize defensive possessions and tackling always on aggressive. CPU will hit stick free points

If you haven’t already turn off lead passing for this mode. The already insanely high turnover rate is worse because of the snow. Should help with placement. As to the blitz’s, this plus a screen to the sideline to avoid any big hits should help.

These are some good tips. What really did it for me was only feeding my players with Tank when on offense (to counter hitsticks) and scoring as fast as possible, even if it meant only getting 3, so I could get back on defense where the "Bonus" points were.
Defensive scheme-wise - I was mixing in some Mid Blitz (vs. less skilled opponents/people who didn't know how to beat it), as well as some Cover 4 Drop shaded overtop so I could try to line up some hitsticks.
It all really comes down to having a bit of luck avoiding hitsticks, playing clean offense with no turnovers, and being smart with the clock, plus being smart on defense, doing what I mentioned above.
Ive won it 4 times and only lost twice (40-2). and I rarely pass. i have 2 formations that i audible thru with 4 different run plays that can be flipped (so essentially 8 plays) also moving my wideout presnap lets me know if theyre in man or zone.... so it makes it really hard to predict where i may run (inside, outside, cut back, hesi)... Jacobs with joystick and Poe with all the blocking abilities and 2 nasty streaks on the oline. just make sure you dont hit the sprint button to soon or everyone disengages their blocks.

At the beginning of every game put ball carrier on conservative and then your tackling on aggressive. Offensive abilities should be tanked on everyone that touches the ball. Defensively you should get as many players with avalanche and use them with some sort of zone ko or even enforcer supreme. Don’t be afraid to punt on 4th downs. If you are up in a game and you know your opponent’s defense has been scoring points on you just kneel the ball and punt. This is a defensive mode.
What plays are you running on offense and defense? I might have a defense for you to run, it’s worth a shot.
Cut stick when you are on defense or just flick the stick down. Tank doesn’t stop it and you can steal 4-8 points every drive on defense. Also once I’m up by 8 or more I just keep punting the ball back to my opponent so that I can’t get hit with any flukes. I’ve been able to hit 10 wins pretty consistently doing this. Also…. DO NOT RETURN THE KICKS

I'd run Tank on everyone who can touch the ball and some enforcers on defense
Also, I'm like 99% sure that cut sticks count for giving you 2 points which is a way to counter Tank
If you still need help I went 41-1 or something crazy like that by utilizing this one blitz. I found it on YouTube, just search up firstandlaw best new blitz and you should find it. On offense I ran tank at every possible position and mainly threw to the outside and went down before I took big hits. I played like an asshole because that’s what EA incentivized. I think I also went like 30-1 in ranked with the same defense
Tanked on offense and avalanche on defense. Don’t be afraid to punt the ball and play defense, this is a defensive mode. Make sure you turn on conservative ball carrier and aggressive tackling.
I’m curious what plays you are running on offense and defense?
Edit: Sorry I reposted almost exactly what I already posted. I saw this thread and didn’t see my comment so I replied again. Seriously hmu if you need help. I’ve gone 10-0 at least like 15-20 times already.
At the moment, there's nothing on the event but Mug-spammers winning off of abilities when their users are garbage, while the offensive players are spamming runs with the speed glitch. I laid so many hit sticks that didn't give me a single point. I'm not sure if something was tweaked, if I'm unlucky, or if there's a glitch that's been discovered that allows guys to avoid the hit-sticking penalty. I'm not having any of the success I had a few days ago.
