If you expected a cheap Drake Maye card, you haven’t been paying attention

This isn’t about whether he’s good or if the Patriot’s are frauds because of their schedule or if Drake’s wife can’t bake. 

He’s arguably the biggest breakout this year and somehow is still without an upgraded elite card while bums are getting better cards all over. 

Drake Maye is a massive payday for EA. He’s getting parked behind a step-up bundle or paywall when they’re ready to cash in.

Or they’re just saving him for the Playoff promo that starts in a couple weeks….

The whole game is a paywall. They goofed with the spotlight tokens and then watered down all the free promo cards as a result. 

If you want him to be cheap you’ll have to live with him having a nerfed ability stack compared to whoever the pay pigs like me are using.

I don’t want him to be cheap. This is a post for all those surprised he wasn’t a Ghost, etc.
