Is there any reason to run route tech over slot O matic. I dont see much of a benefit if im in tight/bunch most of the time. Slot O is essentially just route tech with an added catching bonus. If I were to run more doubles/trips then it would be worth it, but otherwise Slot-O-Matic would be superior right? Theres also the added note that route tech wont be worth the AP after zero chill ends on the 8th, but for arguments sake lets say they cost the same AP. Someone let me know if I'm wrong.

Slot o matic is strictly short routes from the slot position. Route tech is any route at any given time. Route tech is an absolute must have on your go to receiver it's just super duper expensive

What constitutes a specific route? Is it where the first cut is or last cut or where the ball is caught? Same with the catching elite abilities. If I run a quick slant and have short elite but catch the ball 10-20+ yards down the field then what? Is it only where there.ball is caught? Ty

Slot-o is actually bugged this year and works on any reciever/te on most routes

It works on all routes in the slot. if you run bunch x nasty for example Slot-o will work on all 3 of your WRs. This is why I'm thinking its superior to Route Tech unless you run a lot of doubles and trips.

Respectfully, I disagree. Per definition, only SHORT routes

The main cut of the route.
If you run a slant, route tech.
Catching it outside the radius of short elite? Yeah that matters technically, that would merge into a medium or deep catch.
It all matters, take ur time figuring this shit out
Not to be that guy, but taking it into practice mode and seeing when it lights up could be helpful here. Helped me in deciding that some of these damn things wouldn’t light up the way they’re supposed to!
Edit: also please report back if you do! The people want to know.
