what defense are you rocking?

I swear since everyone basically gets every ability I can’t get stops like I could in the past and back to ground 0

I’ve tried the cheese defenses like mid blitz and cover 2 man

What defense are you running with everyone getting every ability?

I’m probably gonna switch from dollar to 3-3 odd, can be similar to dollar but can do a lot more different things and way better run defense vs iform and single back

I’ve been running mid blitz with a Texas 4 man then I spread my LBs and put them in curl flats on 15 zone drops and either used the safety manned on the RB or user one of my LBs it’s Alr just I do get bombed occasionally with all the 99 speeds

I’m in Jags defense running dollar. Zones finally kinda play something because of kos and it’s the best switch stick defense by far.

Nickel Over and Double Mug and then I'll throw in some 3-2. Normally just rush 3 or 4 with DONs and user the middle of the field.

I was just labbing defense today. 

Going back to the 4-3 (Even 6-1) with these giant OLB/Safety that all get KO and Lurker. The zones are playing way better and you gotta have a defense that can stop the run (I seem to be running wild on 6 to 7 DB sets) and get home in the pass rush. I basically spend all ability points these days making my D line stacked with abilities.

Who u running on dline and what abilities

Edge Threat Elite stacked with Double or Nothing for Edges

Interior Threat stacked with DoN and Inside Stuff on both DTs

Z Smith / T Harris / J Simmons / J Allen

So nearly all ZC or Ghosts

A lot of c2 match because I refuse to run man

Currently running 425 Over G.I run a lot of inverted Cover 3 and occasionally will work in Palms and Quarters depending on what formation I’m against. Entire Dline has DON with LT having DON and UF, will also sometimes run Texas and Pirate stunts to help with pressure.  Outside corners have Mid Zone, Flat Zone and Out My Way. Safeties and Slot Corner with DZKO MZKO and Pick Artist.

Tried out some cover 2 man with all the bottlenecks and with a couple minor adjustments pre snap it’s pretty unstoppable. 

I prefer to play zone though, so I’ll probably go back to a mix of Tampa 3, Cover 6, and palms. Feel like press man is gonna be the meta for the next two weeks since there are no abilities that consistently give the super win against press yet.

I run the Niner playbook and am usually in cover 3,  cover 4, with a heavy sprinkle of man coverage. I try and disguise my coverage each play if I’m in zone. Given all the abilities this promo, I got like 5 players with DON, 2 with defensive rally, 5 players with enforcer supreme/enforcer, 7 DB’s with inside shade, 2 with deep zone outside KO/same 2 with one step ahead. 

Definitely a crutch, but I find having all the abilities help me confuse my opponent and make them second guess/hold on to the ball to avoid enforcer surpreme. 

I struggle with mid blitz sometimes but I always have success with routes that play the outside flats, or motion routes that turn out. Eventually forces my opponent and their user to play outside, eventually slowing down the mid blitz cheese.
