You can’t believe the OVR. It can be manipulated. The leaderboard idea was originally good, but the total binder value and the OVR rating can be gamed by people. You shouldn’t consider these values as 100% true.

There were several 99 OVR teams on the leaderboard over this promo. Not sure how they did it or if it can be "manipulated", though. It's likely boosts just got them over the hump. I have three 98 OVRs (including the K) and one 97 OVR on the roster, the rest are 99 rn. I think if I had the right special teams strat I could probably get the roster to 99. It's just not that important.

With the right strats you can boost these three to 99:

P Bobby Wagner

K Adam Vinatieri and K Dan Marino

LS I have no clue but haven't tried.

i thought punters and kickers required 99 kpw and kac to be 99s

I don’t think that’s ever been correct. AWR is factored into the OVR calculation.

You can create an empty lineup and only put in a few boosted 99s  to manipulate your ovr.  That's all the people on leaderboards did. 

It's just a silly thing they do to get attention but has no benefit and isn't something they can actually play games with.  They're not doing it with a full team that's why you won't see any 99s sharing their lineup lol, it would be full of blank spots.

this isnt new, its been possible for almost a month, not that deep, the fact it gets so far under peoples skin is concerning lowkey
