Why is schwesinger not a starting pro bowler???

He was by far the best linebacker in the league and the only player you could argue that’s better is Zack Baun. The fact that roquon smith who has done absolutely nothing significant this year except get tackles on a bad defense, and azeez al-shaair who is the definition of overrated and mid got in over him is genuinely ridiculous. Not even just stat wise but actual gameplay wise schwesinger has been the best lb in the league this year. If I have to make this forum again in a year I might tweak.

The pro bowl is really just a popularity contest that really doesn't mean anything anymore.

The best interior d-lineman in the NFL this season didn't make it. It's meaningless. Just a popularity contest at this point. He should still get DROY so at least there's that

Schwesinger was worse in pass coverage than Roquan. Baun is also way better in pass coverage while having similar tackle stats to Schwesinger he’s easily better. Roquan and Baun were also rated higher by PFF (Baun 5th/87 LBs, Smith 12th/87 LBs) compared to Schwesinger at 20th/87 LBs

1. PFF is the least viable source of proof on players skill. 

2. Roquon is fat now and did absolutely nothing all year except get tackles on a bad defense.  Even Devin bush was better than roquon was this year.

3. You didn’t watch any games and it shows. Schwesinger every play rather it was him defending the pass, the run, or getting to the QB, he was elite on every level. He showed exact shading of Luke Keuchly this year as just a rookie.

Brother I’m not dickriding nobody, and I don’t just look at PFF to determine someone’s better than another person, I’m not that stupid 😂. Funny how u got nothing to say about Baun cuz I’m right about him lmao. Idec about Roquan I only discussed him bc you brought him up. I also fully believe if Jihaad Campbell was starting every game he would’ve been the ROTY.

“If jihaad started” he didn’t now did he? And obviously I’m not gonna say anything bad about Zack Bain he’s the best lb in the league and I never said he wasn’t. I said schwesinger was better this year because he was in my opinion but Zack baun is still an elite linebacker. You just looking for anything to argue about😂😂

I’m not, you simply started by saying he should’ve been a starting LB over Roquan and possibly even Baun too, so I showed u reasons as to maybe why he wasn’t a starter and the only excuse you really have for Roquan is that he got fat?

Roquon got fat and was a cone on defense. That’s my point. He once again did absolutely nothing all year except get  tackles on a horrid defense (I have to keep repeating myself because you don’t listen) and other than getting tackles was pointless. You just talk out of your ass and use pff as your main source to how players are good or bad.

If I remember correctly I said I don’t even like PFF, I just used it as ONE source. My other source was directly comparing their seasons with pro football reference. Granted pfr isn’t the best at showing run defense and mainly focuses on pass defense hence why I never brought up run defense bc I didn’t have the stats to look at and compare
