Can anyone confirm if player stats work

Good day, everyone

 so I recently upgraded my team, got a bunch of cards that were 93 overall my offensive line as well and then I go into a few games and I kid you not the same things that were happening with my team previously before the upgrade are still happening it’s a shame because I was snowed in, had nothing to do, and I put a few hours into really looking into cards and their stats and choosing them based on what I was trying to do when playing the game 

I was searching for these cards for a few hours I really went into getting the best stats for these positions now that  so many cards are available in the game with this promo and last 

  I don’t even see a difference , not even a slim difference so then I began to wonder are all the stats that are on each card really accurate? and if so has anyone or is there any way to confirm this?

For lineman all I look at is awareness. I also like to have the highest awareness lineman as my center. I don’t think any other stats actually matter, but that’s just my opinion. I also you the plus 4 awareness strategy card for the o line. As for every other position all I look for is speed and height. 

You are better off just buyin the zero chill and ghost 90 overall lineman and use the pass protector ability. Abilities are everything in this game right now.

I think for certain positions a lot of stats don’t matter. Every position is a little different. Stats do matter but not as much as people think. This game has turned into an animation and ability based game. Some cards have better player models which makes them better than cards that have better stats. Some cards have different animations that have nothing to do with stats or even abilities. Idk it’s kinda hard to explain.

Once again thanks for responding 

Again other than speed  how can we tell or know the stats  really work ?  I tried creating a player ( defensive back ) and gave him great speed but pretty much lowest rating in all  other categories and he played pretty good again it wasn’t online in a H2H game but still it raised the question.

90 Gives you the best animation, per the grouping, so... 

DB's: 90+ man, zone, press

WR's: 90+ Short/Medium/Deep RR, BP/Release

Oline: Only O-line AWR that matters is the Center's... the game takes the highest AWR rating on your line and applies it to all (or so I've read)  ... PBK, PBP, PBF, RBK all over 90... strength as high as possible... (with over 300 lbs., preferably)

D-Line: 90+ Block shed, Power moves, Finesse moves

Anything "Physical/Athleticism-based" has no threshold... You want that as high as possible. Like jumping, agility, COD, speed, acceleration, strength... (You need 90 COD and AGL to 'speed boost')

This game is still Ability-based though, so have them everywhere.

I appreciate your response and explaining in your opinion how 90’s work what but again my question is, how do you know this ? Where are you getting these facts of information from?
