So right now everyone is rushing to get snow so they can open all the presents. Many have champions and LTDs presents they are waiting to likely sell.. But won't that mean massive bottomed out prices for the champs and LTDs the day presents are opened? It seems like the move is to make all the coin you can off snow now and buy the cards you want on the sell off. While it is for sure fun to roll for presents, it seems like a coin sink. Thoughts from all you MUT economists out there?

I used to be like that. Buy up all the presents I can and open them Christmas morning for the hell of it. I was expecting to bank on those day, but learned a better path. I usually build up snow and build any bnd or ghost card that I want. Qs any presents except maybe 1 or 2 bigger ones I have got that way I can still open some Christmas. The day before Christmas, i use the left over snow to buy sellable cards. Sell everything I can in the lead up to Christmas. Then use that stack to buy like it's black friday. I typically try to stack up close to 5 mill in coins and use 3 mill of that on a spending spree.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking as well. I got 1 LTD from opening like 10 mysteries and I'm probably done. I'll take the profit and buy the champs I want.

Typically everything crashes in price on christmas day. I can't remember if it was last year, but occasionally there is one LTD that is harder to pull and may keep some value.
I'd expect LTD's to sell in the 430K range. All lower end cards will likely tank pretty hard, so if there's sets you want to build, that is the time to build.
Last year with the AKA program, you could pull an LTD when building certain cards. I was buying all the low end 82-86 for like 1K each and building the cards and pulling an LTD every other set i built.
I made so much coin it was crazy, until the market dried up of all the lower end cards.
The market always crashes hard on Christmas. It is best to stack coins and buy after everything crashes. The Ghost Chem Team will remain the best until deep into January (with their 2 zero AP buckets), so buying opportunities for the best cards should be there.
Yep. Same as years before for ZC and Sugar Rush. LTDs won't be the same pricepoints as traditional LTDs and will probably all be sub 1M as you can guess from all of the LTD presents being opened by everyone. They're not exactly "limited." Some will rise in price in a few days but fall well short of traditional LTD pricing. As others have said, it'll be buyers market big time and honestly, the presents seem more for fun vs. getting good value compared to just buying the opened presents you want off of the AH. Knowing this, they still get me every year being an old dog who wants to open presents like a kid again.

It really depends on how the servers behave
.
3 years ago, the servers were very glitchy/laggy - people couldnt open their presents and prices shot up a ton
.
Similar to the start of Most Feared this year.
.
Last year, Snow was so easy to get due to Mutmas draft event, so most people had a TON of presents and prices crashed

How should we prepare for Ghost ?
Spending spree xmas market will b floored with 4 weeks of presents
Im thinking if you can sell your cards at the usual 1:30 launch you should hold, if not get rid of em for coins and snow flips. The few times ive been home during launch you have about 45 mins to make crazy coins

The Collector Series replaced AKA this year. Is there a set in Collector Series that has a chance for LTD's?

If it’s like last year, you will need 4xZC or Ghost 90s and 1x any 90. I have been stacking ZC 90s at 90k or lower and other 90s for 80k or lower. You can then complete the set for about 440k and sell them for over 600k when the set goes live.

No problem. One other piece of advice: stack 88s and 86s today if you can. Tomorrow will be 90 OVR team builders that will take 3x88 and 1x86. You will also need cheap 90s to create the 93 team builders. You can usually make good coins with team builders.
Budget wise, save the coin and buy on Christmas. That is ultra boring. Having gifts to open up is way more fun.
Used to hoard coins and never want to spend them but that just becomes a revolving door of “I’ll hold until next increase or promo”. Made the game boring. Now I jus splurge on Christmas and have fun.
