I dont think anyone mentioned this point yet but it is more so when MUT makes these Christmas OOP the best players at their position siginificantly for a while. I think most of the older crowd hates OOPs in general, the younger crowd loves it and a common thing the like is they lean into the silly. MUT has always had OOP but they always had a weakness(taller players couldnt flip their hips in coverage as fast) or like if you wanted a Tyreek Hill at MLB he would be super fast but short and bad block shedding so that makes sense( better user but bad in the run game.) Or if there was no downside it would be at Punter. Like you could put Kamu Grugier-Hill or Justin Reid as your punter/KOS and have an extra fast coverage guy.
The biggest gripe is when Derrick Henry QB, is 95 speed, 3 zero AP buckets, 99 throw power, 97 Throw on the run, Aaron Rodgers release, and light em up escape artist X factor. That's super unrealistic and now everyone pretty much "has" to use him. Like when EA messed up and had to give everyone a Henry QB card for free I literally never had to buy a qb for the rest of the year ( I usually quit around TOTY promo). Same concept applies to Jullius Peppers FS and OL RBs.
