Keep sweating out those ill-gained wins, justifying it with your Git Gud mentality. The Head-to-Head experience in this game is the worst it’s been as long as I have played, and guys like you keep recommending the true cure-all, using words like “scheme” as a synonym for “glitch”.
Thank you.
I never implied a as you say " get gud mentality " . There will always be better players than you or I . I'm saying if you are going to playa game with known issues and inconstancies being better prepared is always a benefit . Obviously in a game to game scenario , there will be ones that you will lose even being more prepared but overall you should better results than being upset about . At the end of the day if you feel the game is to bad to play then just don't . Also Glitch or exploit are not the same as scheme and not a synonym . I'm sure if you googled "synonym's for glitch not one is scheme . Glitch or Exploits generally cant be countered . Is there a META yes , and so does every other game in the last 15 years . Wondering how may times over the years you said that in some form or another "this years Madden is the worst ever " previously .

No, I am not, nor did I intend to take that role. Sorry to have misunderstood your intent.

"Meta" or "Metagame" used to mean what the crowd was doing, and countering the metagame would involve exploiting the attempt to exploit.
RPO is "meta"; everyone is doing it. Why? Because it's broken. Sure, it has "counters", but once someone applies tweaks to counter the "counters", it becomes evident that the "counters" aren't effective.
Double Mug Mid Blitz is "meta"; everyone is doing it. Why? Because it's broken. Sure, it has "counters", but once someone applies tweaks to counter the "counters", it becomes evident that the "counters" aren't effective.
There have been plenty of games that had a meta that wasn't broken. MUT is not such a game. And Git Gud isn't about learning football better so that you can succeed in a game with a football veneer; it's about learning the exploits. And if someone doesn't want to wear the label of "cheater", they simply call it "scheme".
Anyways, the lines are drawn. If you have something else to say, you're welcome to. I didn't mean to be the arbiter of good advice, and I didn't really wish to get sucked into another argument about the legitimacy of what "winning players" are doing. My opinion is clear.

Apology accepted sir, have a good night.
Extremely inconsistent gameplay. Shadow Nerf. Buffs. Killing MUT economy every two seconds. Esp those who are paying out for the step up bundles. I would legit quit the game if I spent anything close to those numbers they were asking for Gibbs / Deion on&on for them to drop a free Tbow next week. Wow. It's worse than it's ever been, but we saw the writing on the walls with the sale of the company. Why not drive up / maximize profits before tipping ur cap out the door.

META is the most effective strategy available and your not the arbiter of good advice your the arbiter of giving up . You can choose to play the game anyway you want but then when you lose or struggle , understand your choosing the harder path . I'm ok with this logic but then complaining about that is like complaining that water is wet .

Water is wet. Madden is not football. So using a word like “scheme”, which has a peculiar meaning in a true football context, should not be confused with “scheme” in Madden, which means how to exploit the AI.
As to “giving up”, I have conceded the following: If you want to win, sell your soul, and ruin the experience for everyone else by cheating.

Madden is not football , COD and Battlefield is not WAR , Paws and Claws is not a real veterinary . If you thought any video game is supposed to be like real life I feel bad for you . Also maybe to be in the top 20% percent of Madden players you have to as you say " sell your soul " . Which you say Madden is not Football then say scheme cant be used in Madden cause it is not a football context ( are you disagreeing with yourself ) . You play year after year so what ever the experience you must like it enough or you are a masochist .

This is the end of my third year, and I’ve held on with the hope that EA would move on from their Win-[x]-in-a-Row model. In MUT 26, I’ve had a competitive roster for almost the entirety of the title. Unfortunately, since so many users are willing to sell their soul (20% seems a legitimate estimate), do the math on the likelihood of winning five or six games straight without doing something implicitly or overtly cheap.
As for the argument that war titles aren’t war, I don’t agree with that. If you get shot in the head, your avatar is dead. That’s pretty similar to war. The kind of stuff users can do in Madden to induce football avatars to do non-football things makes the head spin. The analogy doesn’t stick if you’re not trying to insist that a war game should actually result in the death or maiming of the user.
