I am getting TORN up by inside runs, what can I do

My team is pretty good, 93 OVR…I just can’t stop inside runs for the life of me. What can I do?

I have Ted Hendricks and Bolton and my LBs, so it’s not like I have two safeties getting burned up. I don’t get it.

what defensive formation are you getting destroyed in?

That's going to be a formation,  personnel, stunt, play issue. 

Need more details to help.  Knowing what inside run formations are beating what defensive formation and play you run

Make sure you’re not pass committing. That has had a bigger effect this year than in others from my experiences

4 down linemen for me I absolutely destroy them on inside zone 

with my defense the looper fills the gap well and/or one of the DoN come off the edge quick and make a tackle or I just shoot the gap well

My DON does essentially nothing. I have on one DT and both edge. And 2 defensive rallys

My KOs work best in nickel cover 3 with one light blue, so I run that a bunch, but I can’t stop the run or get any pressure at all. What stunt do you recommend?

stunts get killed in the run game, I just run 4 DoNs and don't stunt all the time. I only really run the Texas 4 man out of nickel single mug in pass situations

If you're getting destroyed on inside runs, Defensive Rally might never trigger. I only run that ability when it's likely I can force third-and-anythings. When the offense can get first downs at will, it's a worthless ability.

I would need more info to really help you. But for most runs I use 6-1 cover 4 and show blitz with my linebackers and and then use the Texas 4 man stunt and either spread my d line or crash my d line depending on the run. Take your user which should be the middle linebacker and go back like 2-3 yards and shoot the inside gap. I rarely get ran on.

I also have my safety adjustment to pinch and close. If they are running like crazy I will manually take my safety’s and move them a little closer to free them up a little to play the run better
