Cant get all 3 x factors on defense?

says I have 3 alreadsy when I dont. I unequiped all the abilties for everyone and left lineup screen and still wont work.

Remove the old X factors from lineup, activate new x factors then put old players back in lineup

You have to remove one you've had the X Factor on previously from the lineup entirely then do it. Its done that in prior Maddens for whatever reason

I had to remove everyone with abilities from my lineup and re-add them back. It's important to remove them from the lineup, not just that position.
Then pay attention when you add tehm back. If their AP is activated when you add them back to the lineup, deactivate the AP and remove them from the lineup again. Then re-add them.
