I was going to use 50 tokens to get the 2 new 49ers totw defensive players today but after seeing the ZC reveals and the fact that we will be getting a 94 spd defensive end i realized it would be a waste. The team building aspect isnt as fun if we get the best cards for free constantly. Its a minor gripe and it has saved me alot of coins but i really do think there are too many great free cards and to me it makes it not worth the price to spend for a player that might be slightly better if that .
I totally disagree loling!
plz put the joint down lol
The heck? Complaining that there a good players that you can get without spending money and by just playing the game?
Terrible take
Awful take, sounds like you wanna be able to buy the best players to have an advantage. How can you complain about getting a good and usable free card lol
I don't think it's a terrible take when you consider the context of the lack of unique teams right now, something cited in the OP. I do think EA has been considerate toward NMS this year. I don't lose in H2H because my team is outclassed. I lose primarily because I get cheesed.
All-32 Team Chemistry items are too abundant. There should be fewer.

Conflating two arguments — 32 chems vs free players

I didn't read it that way. EA could give away dozens of free players that don't have All-32 Team Chemistries, and EA would be giving away fewer meaningful free players that make team lineups. It's not a philosophical argument. He's evaluating what EA has given us, which includes Za'Darius Smith, a 91 SPD REDG with All-32 Team Chemistries. (He has a motivator chemistry that will likely kick his SPD up to 95 assuming at least 50/60 team chemistry and the full Release One Crystal squad.)
He wasn't casting shade at the NMS players. At this point, you grind just a little, and no matter what NFL theme team you might choose, you'll see 90% of your lineup on the opposing side of the field. Consequently, the team-building aspect of MUT suffers from a lack of diversity. This isn't a good thing in principle.
Cuz they don't balance tt right this is the only way to really have a decent team whatever you're a fan of.

I don't understand why EA can't leverage an Excel spreadsheet to produce a graph that a competent person could read and know which players to release and when in order to maintain some competitive balance between different theme teams.
