Every 2 weeks we are all worried about our cards losing value and having to sell our teams for the next promo. MUT seems to be all about looking ahead instead of actually enjoying the team you got. I miss when you had cards that would last 2 months minimum.
For example, I took a break during the breakout promo and not having Thornton and Porter is putting me at a disadvantage. I still came back and put a nice little Autumn Classic team together just for it to become irrelevant once Blitz dropped just a couple days later.
I say all this as a warning. This game mode is addictive. Maybe even preditorial at times. This mode is the perfect storm of playing the game of football we all love, collecting cards, team building, gambling, working the market; it has it all.
However, Its never enough. You'll never have the perfect team. You'll never have the most coins. Cards get nerfed. Coins get lost. You'll keep chasing and chasing and it will take up most of your weekend and nights.
I kinda had a wakeup call after enjoying taking time away from the game. This message goes out to anyone stuck in the same loop that its OK to take a break. I know its the holidays which is peak MUT season and that's why I think its important to put family and real life things 1st. You might not even realize the things you're putting aside because youre stuck in this cycle UT has you on.
