That’s the problem, and pretending that’s healthy for the mode is part of what keeps it from ever improving.

So what “cheese” are you concerned about specifically?

There is no good defense this year. They’ve successfully eliminated every single blitz by giving us so much control over pass protections. Theres no “instant shed” blitzes, if you aren’t making reads quickly enough to beat people using Double or nothing on their oline you have to use pass protector or post up in your line. Thats all I mean by understanding game mechanics. 

Speed boosting is a stupid addition to the game, but it was in CFB 25 and people liked it. That’s not a glitch, that was intentionally put in the game. Qb juke speed boosting got patched. Fake field goal exploit? Idk what that is just call normal defense, you can only block 1/100 kicks anyways. If you’re talking about blocked kicks, just don’t kick it right away, wait 2 seconds.

I’m not trying to say gameplay is good. I’m agreeing with that part of your argument, but I’ve spent maybe $50 on platinum packs this year and I’ve got a pats theme team that’s only worth about 4 million coins. I win around 60% of my games and I only play at night on the weekends. You don’t need to invest a heavy amount of time and money, just gotta be smart with coins and not feed into the machine.

I miss MUT so much before you were basically obligated to use a TT to stay competitive. It was so much fun using new players and a greater variety without having to rebuild your entire team around chemistries.

That's just not true.. Only online games I've played all year was this season, getting to Champ 1 for RG3.. I'm sitting at a 92 OVR all BND team, with 9mil coins. This game is Time vs Money. It isn't designed for 'casual gamers' .. That's regs. 

If you wanna have all the new shiny cards as NMS, you gotta grind the AH just as much as you play the game. Investing in cards as the Market rises and falls, etc.  (Time)

If you work a full time job, or work and go to school, etc, and don't have that time, but have disposable income, you buy packs to stay relevant/competitive. (Money)  

I'm personally having a pretty good time with this year's Madden. But that's not to say it doesn't have it's issues.. Every game does.  I don't like all the super expensive LTD's, but that's how EA makes their money.. and you don't NEED those cards to compete. Yes, they're cool.. and very good when they come out, but there is budget counterparts to every card released.

Literally got a bad ass squad and built up to 14 mil with all the events this year and season tokens with free bnd weekly spotlight tokens, and season players!. No money spent. You don’t need to spend money on mut to have fun and get good cards. You just have to be good. Sure you ain’t gonna beat a comp player with a good squad, but most players with god squads on mut are trash. Spamming same 3 plays including pro’s and runs I’m spending all these coins zero chill and I just nabbed Deion for 4.1 mil last night. 
Now I spend money on the game. lol people always tryna justify their losses. Before this I haven’t used a single LTD Deion is the first. And I may sell him back this weekend. Raiders tt since most feared.
